About Katrina Barhouse...

"That is all very well, little Alice, " says my aunt, "but there is a third thing you must do." "What is that?" I ask. "You must do something to make the world more beautiful."
-Miss Rumphius, by Barbara Cooney

Katrina is a robotics engineer by day, and a writer by night! She has her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, and her M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University.

Though you will scarcely find Katrina without a book in hand, one of her true passions outside of engineering is mentoring children and young adults in STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). She wishes nothing more than to share her experiences in engineering and passion for technology with others in the hope of encouraging STEM conversations and promoting STEM careers.
